FROM OUR TABLE, TO YOURS

Growing up in Keralam, chai (tea) & kaapi (coffee) wasn’t just something to drink - it sparked conversation and brought people together. Family, neighbors, friends - conversations flowed naturally through any topic and started to shape how I understand connection: insight doesn’t emerge in isolation. It forms in dialogue.

When I moved back to the Bay Area, I missed that rhythm - the way a shared cup could hold space for thought. In a culture that prizes speed and output, I was craving something slower. Intentional.

So I began brewing again. Not just to share a taste of India, but to recreate the conditions where new ideas can emerge.

Cardamom Deep Dive

Our cardamom is grown on my family’s farm in Idukki, Keralam, India. It took my parents more than twenty years to refine their cultivation - building on lessons from my grandparents, testing their own ideas, and learning alongside neighboring growers. What we use today is the result of that exchange.

The teas and coffees come from the same high ranges, then are blended and roasted in California. Brewing is slow and deliberate, designed to draw out structure, warmth, and clarity.

For me, craft is participation. I’ve studied fermentation and processing across the food world - speaking with brewers, winemakers, mushroom growers, and chocolate makers who obsess over detail. After traveling to Brazil to study coffee processing, I brought those learnings back to our cardamom - refining how we cure and handle it to build on the progress my parents made. Each dialogue pushes the work forward.

The goal isn’t to replicate the past. It’s to continue it - through conversation, collaboration, and shared curiosity. The same way ideas take shape when people gather around a table.
